How cute is this Crochet Mini Pie Applique created by Guest Designer Stephanie from Eat Pray & Crochet? She calls it the Mini Cutie Pie. So sweet!

These are so perfect for fall! Stephanie originally used these in a fall garland. I got a spark of inspiration and attached one of these crochet pumpkin pies to a jumbo paper clip to use as a bookmark.

You could also change the pie color to match your favorite pie! Do you prefer chocolate pie? Just change the pie filling yarn color to brown. Use red for cherry, blue for blueberry, the list goes on!

Huge thank you to Stephanie for showcasing this pattern! Be sure to check out her links below and see what she’s up to.

Pie Filling

With Pie filling color & 5mm hook make a Magic Circle.

Round 1: CH 2 (not a St), 12 DC into MC. Join with Sl St to first DC of round. (12)

Round 2: CH 2 (not a St) DC INC in each St around. Sl St to first DC of round. (24)

Fasten off pie filling color.

Pie Crust

Attach crust color to back loop of any DC from round 2.

This round is worked in with a 4.5mm hook & is worked in the Back Loops ONLY.

Round 3: 3 SC in first St. Sl St into next St. (3 SC, Sl St) Repeat around. Sl St in first SC of round. (36)

Fasten off pie crust color.

Cool Whip Dollop

With white make a Magic Circle.

(DC, Sl St) x 6. Sl St to first DC to join. Pull Magic Circle closed.

Fasten off.

I like to tie the fastened-off end and the MC string in a tight knot and then cut. Since we will be hot gluing it on the pie, there is no need to sew the dollop ends.

Sew in rest of ends, hot glue the dollop to the center of your pumpkin pie, and hot glue the pie to your jumbo paper clip!

There you have it! The cutest little crochet pumpkin pie bookmark. You can use them for your fall reading list, recipe books, gifts, or whatever else your beautiful, creative brain can think of!
