Stitch Key (US Terms)
CH= Chain
SC= Single Crochet
INC= Increase (two SC in the same space)
SL ST= Slip Stitch

Special Stitches

Bobble: *YO, Insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop, YO and pull through 2 loops on your hook* Repeat 3 more times. Now you should have 5 loops on your hook. YO and pull through all 5 loops on your hook.

Back Bump: This is where you flip your starting chain over and insert your hook into the “back bump” of the chain and place your stitch there. If you are unfamiliar with this technique I would suggest watching the video that goes with this pattern.

Finished Dimensions: About 4” tall and 2.75” wide when folded and buttoned

Chapstick Holder Keychain Pattern

Chain 43

Row 1: Skip the chain closest to your hook, SC 41.

In the last chain space, SC 1 – looslyish CH 4, and mark each ch with a stitch marker – SC 1.

SC 41 back down the other side of your starting chain. CH 1. Turn.

Row 2: SC 41. INC x6. SC 41 back down the other side. CH 1. Turn.

Row 3: SC, Bobble around. CH 1. Turn.

Row 4: SC 41. (INC, SC ) x6, SC 41.

Measurements 9.25” long by 1.5” wide

Note: Your work will be twisted. This is due to the nature of the stitches and is normal. You’re welcome to block if you’d like but it will straighten up after assembled.
